What's Happening at Donna's

New Coupon Available When You Stay at Donnas

Donna's Premier Lodging - Tuesday, July 21, 2015

We work with several different local businesses who give us some great coupons that we're able to offer to our guests!  We are so excited to announce that we've recently partnered with Warther Cutlery in Dover, Ohio!  The coupons that we have will save you up to 20%!

Warther Cutlery began in 1902 out of necessity for a sharp knife that would hold its edge. Ernest (Mooney) Warther, known as the World's Master Carver who carved the history of the steam engine in walnut, ebony and ivory, couldn't find a knife that would hold its edge. He was working in a local steel mill at the time and learned to temper steel from a blacksmith. Mooney found that the knives he made and sharpened held their edge against hard woods and ivory. About the same time, Mooney's mother complained about her kitchen knives. At the age of 17, he made a kitchen knife for his mom, she loved it, told the neighbors and more than 100 years later, Warther Cutlery continues to use the same high quality standards.

Not only is Warther Cutlery a place to buy fine handcrafted knives, you will also find a large selection of gifts in their newly renovated gift shop.  Kitchen decor, decorations and a wide selection of gift items are just a few of the things you'll find.  And even better yet -- they are open 7 days a week from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (including Sundays!).  So don't fear if you find yourself in Amish Country on a quiet Sunday, simply head over to Warther Cutlery and be prepared to be amazed!
